We are seeking experienced, self-starting, creative, and service-oriented individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead daily food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, and serve.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of daily meals for students and staff
Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met
Collaborate with the Food Service Director on menu and special events
Supervise kitchen staff and student workers
Manage inventory and rotation, and minimize waste
Create a welcoming and respectful environment consistent with Christian hospitality
Faith, service and lifestyle that meets University expectations
Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or institutional food service
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Commitment to the mission and values of a Christian educational institution
Be able to pass a background check
Preferred: ServSafe Certification
