Job Posting: Food Services Worker - Grades 1 to 6 School Kitchen

Location: Race Brook School, 107 Grannis Rd, Orange, CT

Start Date: August 20, 2026; workdays follow the school calendar

Salary: Follows union agreement; Paid bi-weekly

Hours of Employment: 4.5 hours/day, 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM; 22.5 hours/week

Benefits: Union Position; no health coverage

Responsibilities include:

• preparing and serving healthy lunches to children and staff
• cleaning dishes, trays, and food-related items
• keeping the kitchen clean and orderly.
• being able to lift and rotate stock on a daily basis

Candidate must be pleasant, welcoming, open to change, and be able to multitask.

Also, this position requires that the candidate be able to stand for hours at a time.
