Role: Food Service Teacher - School Chef at Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway.

You must have experience cooking nutritious meals for a daycare center.

Duties to include but not limited to- Preparation, planning and shopping for all things food in the building to include lunch, snacks and various events that require food.

Drop off and pick up of elementary school children in our buses during the school year. (no special license required).

This position is FAST PACED and time sensitive. You must be a high energy person to be successful in this position.

Hours for this position are 6:45am-3:45pm.

Nurture a child's first five years by:

• Encouraging healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods
• Maintaining a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions
• Following the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director
• Assisting with ordering food and calculating the amount needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management
• Strong skills in inventory management and control
• Ability to manage food service and catering operations
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen teams
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production

Salary Range: $12-$22/hour depending on verifiable experience and credentials.

Shift Schedule: 6:45am-3:45pm Includes transporting children to and from local elementary schools on our buses. (No CDL needed)
