Food Service Utility Worker

M IDDLE HIGH SCHOOL ASSIGNM ENT FOOD SERVICE UTILITY W ORKER 3.75 hours per day | Starting pay: $19.58 per hour Qualifications: Ability to: Lift up to 50 pounds - heavy and repetitive lifting is required. Check-in and label all orders received before putting them in stock and assure freshness by rotating stock dates (FIFO); M aintain inventory of freezer, inventory and stock vending m achines, and rotate and stock can rack; Prepare (this m ay involve baking) and deliver catering/function requests as directed by m anager; Responsible for heavy cleaning of walk-in cooler and freezer weekly, as well as de-lim ing the dishwasher; Responsible for all aspects of Staff Dining including but not lim ited to preparation, serving and cashiering; Assist cooks as needed in lunch preparation and assist in any and all duties assigned by the M anager and/or Director; Attend in-service training sessions as required by Director; Perform all duties following National Restaurant Association standards for sanitation/safety; W alk and stand for duration of work schedule; W ork safely and accurately under a deadline; Follow direction and work independently; W ork cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a positive working environm ent; Safely tolerate exposure to heat, hum idity, steam , cooking odors, refrigerator and freezer tem peratures, and cleaning solutions; Have fun and display a positive attitude at work.
