Food Service Worker | Day ShiftPenmac Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers for a part-time opportunity. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized workplace.Requirements for the Food Service Worker

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
• Dependable, honest, and professional
• Adequate verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be willing to submit to required background checks

Food Service Worker ResponsibilitiesAs a Food Service Worker, you will assist with daily food preparation, serving, and sanitation duties while supporting a safe and efficient operation.

• Assist with food preparation and food service activities
• Set up and maintain service areas
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Work Environment

• Indoor food service environment
• Exposure to heat, noise, and commercial food service equipment
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
• Repetitive tasks such as lifting trays, pushing carts, and cleaning surfaces

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Schedule may vary based on business needs
• Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
