Food Service Worker 1 PRN Premium

Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; cleans area and cooking utensils following infection control/HACCP guidelines.

Experience - Previous experience in food service is preferred.

Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Sets up serving area and serves customers in accordance with established schedule and procedures.
• Cleans the cafeteria area, serving utensils and equipment, following infection control and HACCP guidelines.
• Carries dishes and food between the production area and serving lines.
• Presents all menu items in an attractive manner, following sanitary procedures and maintain adequate supplies of food and nonfood during meal service.
• Informs supervisor of all supply and equipment needs.
• Greets all customers promptly and courteously.
• Completes all documentation requirements: temperature logs, cleaning schedules, etc.
• Understands standard infection control and HACCP guidelines.
• Understands role in hospitals fire, safety and disaster programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
