Compensation: In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary: St. Anne's Family Services is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Food Service Worker - Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment. This role includes dishwashing, assisting with food prep, meal delivery, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are consistently met. Bilingual English-Spanish candidates are strongly preferred.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM
• Location: 155 N. Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize food service areas to maintain high sanitation standards
• Assist with basic food preparation and portioning meals according to menu guidelines
• Deliver meal carts and support setup/breakdown of dining and event spaces
• Perform regular and deep cleaning tasks, including kitchen appliances, floors, and windows
• Support inventory tasks such as receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and rotating food items

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of food service or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions in English
• Bilingual, Spanish & English speaking strongly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must attain food safety and sanitation certification as required (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
