We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Food Service Worker to join an assisted living dining services team. This position supports daily food service operations, including meal preparation, serving, dining room setup, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for residents.
The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and enjoys providing friendly and respectful service to senior residents.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
Set up dining areas, serving stations, trays, utensils, and beverages.
Serve meals and beverages to residents according to established procedures.
Follow residents' dietary requirements and meal instructions.
Assist with portioning and distributing meals.
Replenish food and beverage stations as needed.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen and food service supplies.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and facility safety procedures.
Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, staff, and guests.
Work closely with cooks, dietary staff, and other team members.
Perform other food service duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred.
Experience working with seniors is a plus.

Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
