We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join a corporate dining team within a technology company. The Food Service Worker will assist with daily food service operations, including food preparation, serving, dining area setup, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for employees and guests.
The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate food service environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
Set up and replenish food stations, serving lines, and dining areas.
Serve food and beverages to employees and guests.
Assist with portioning and presentation of food.
Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed.
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment.
Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and kitchen supplies.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Work collaboratively with cooks, kitchen staff, and dining team members.
Support special events, catering, and other food service activities as needed.
Food Handler certification preferred, if applicable.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional and positive attitude.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
