Food Service Worker/Dietary Aide - Hospital

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to support food preparation, storage, sanitation, equipment operation, and customer service in a healthcare food services environment. The ideal candidate should have food service or storeroom experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to production orders and established guidelines.
• Check and document food temperatures according to HACCP standards.
• Assemble food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform dishwashing and maintain proper sanitation procedures.
• Receive, organize, and store food and supplies appropriately.
• Complete inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Operate, clean, sanitize, and maintain food service equipment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and departmental policies.
• Report food safety or operational issues to leadership.
• Provide courteous customer service and work collaboratively with the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 year of food service or storeroom experience Required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling preferred.
• Ability to work on-site and in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
