About the Position

Second-level Food Services position accountable for preparation and cooking of more complex menu items under general supervision. Follows standard kitchen procedures and sanitation guidelines. Prepares food trays with proper amounts of food for individuals with specific dietary needs. Participates in and may also assist in supervising the cleaning of the kitchen and food serving areas. Serves in food lines, stocks foods, and requisitions basic food and supply items.

What youll need to be Successful

Ability to prepare and cook food according to dietary needs of the individuals. Responsible for keeping the kitchen and dining area sanitized.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 1-2 years of work experience.
