At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our food service team plays an important role in patient satisfaction and overall care. We're seeking a dependable Food Service Worker to support kitchen operations, food preparation, and service while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, portion, and serve food for patients, cafeteria, and catering services
- Set up and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently
- Clean and maintain kitchen, cafeteria, and work areas
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and blenders
- Wash and store dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Stock supplies and transport items as needed
- Support tray line operations and assist with menu preparation
- Perform diet office duties including answering phones and processing menus
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with cross-training and support different assignments as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred or related experience
- 1 year of food service experience preferred
