INTERVIEW PROCESS: Candidates will first be submitted to Human Resources for an initial review. HR will forward qualified candidates to the hiring manager. The hiring manager will contact candidates directly to schedule interviews. Candidates should notify their recruiter immediately upon manager outreach.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Six months of related food service, environmental services, or sanitation experience preferred
CERTIFICATIONS: None required
TECHNICAL SKILLS: * Knowledge of sanitation and food handling procedures * Ability to work with food service equipment and cleaning supplies
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods * Strong teamwork and customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform dish sanitation and dish room operations * Clean carts, trays, refrigerators, counters, and food service areas * Break down patient trays and assist with silverware sanitation * Maintain sanitary food handling and personal hygiene standards * Stock supplies and replenish service areas as needed * Assist with tray assembly and meal service support * Deliver late meal requests and support patient meal operations * Load and dispatch meal carts and trucks * Maintain coffee stations and food service areas * Perform additional food and nutrition department duties as assigned
