Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation environment, including performing routine kitchen cleaning and sanitation, in accordance with health department regulations and food safety standards.Follows proper food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and quality.Follows established recipes, menus, contract requirements, policies, procedures, and other applicable guidelines.Safely operates, cleans, and maintains food service equipment and utensils.Packages meals according to established procedures, ensuring appropriate portions, temperatures, labeling, and presentation.Monitors and maintains appropriate food temperatures throughout the preparation, holding, and packaging processes.Communicates effectively with the Food Service Manager and other staff to support the daily operations of the Food Service Department.Completes and maintains required food service records and documentation in accordance with agency, regulatory, and contract requirements.Food Services Cook Minimum Qualifications: Food service experienceAbility to read and follow written material such as recipes and menusVision and Core Values:Come help us be the leading provider of innovative, quality support and services promoting independence, choice, and community integration.
