Food Share Technician
- Pay Range: $20/hr + $0.75/hr Bilingual Differential (Spanish) + Competitive Benefits
- Location: Loveland or Fort Collins, CO (as assigned)
- Shift: Tues–Sat, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible as needed)
- Position Type: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

How you'll spend your time as a Food Share Technician:
- Welcome and check in clients with professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards – monitor safe food handling and distribution
- Stock and organize the No-Cost Market – create a dignified, efficient client shopping experience
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to rotate inventory using FEFO method
- Monitor and communicate inventory needs with the Operations Manager
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility – sweeping, mopping, de-icing, bulletin boards
- Train, coordinate, and motivate volunteers – foster teamwork and mission alignment
- Travel between organizational sites as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Food Share Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred ($0.75/hr differential)
- Experience with communities with limited incomes or knowledge of food insecurity – preferred
- Strong time management – able to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication & collaboration – builds trust with clients, volunteers, and team
- Organization & leadership – maintains order in dynamic environments, motivates others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies
- Experience with inventory/project management systems (Microsoft Navision Ceres a plus)
- Physically capable – walk 9+ miles per shift, lift 25–55 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable in warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
