Football Summer Camp Counselor

About the role

• This role is focused on creating a fun, safe, and energetic environment for young athletes to develop their football skills, teamwork, and confidence. Camp counselors will lead drills and activities, mentor campers, and help ensure every participant has a positive and rewarding camp experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a current or incoming Bethel student
• Positive attitude and ability to motivate campers
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Previous coaching, playing, or camp experience preferred but not required

Work Environment:

This role will take place at Royal Stadium. Moderate noise levels. Be prepared for warm weather and possibly rain.

Physical Demands:

Ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, running, and demonstrating football drills

Ability to life and carry football equipment up to 30 pounds

Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather conditions

Ability to supervise and engage with campers in a fast-paced environment

Expected Hours of Work:

Work schedule is generally dependent upon your availability. Please work out a final schedule with Coach Swanson. Below are the camp dates:

Age 5- Grade 5 // July 22-23, 2026 // Youth Football Day Camp

Grades 6-8 // July 20-21, 2026 // Middle School Football Day Camp

Grades 9-12 //June 11, 2026 (Rain Date June 18) //Girls Flag Football Day Camp

Stipend based on hours worked
