Footwear Assembler

Adecco Staffing is hiring Footwear Assemblers for a manufacturing company in Auburn, Maine. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay and potential for long-term employment.

Title: Footwear Assembler
Location: Auburn, ME
Pay: $19.27/hour

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Shape and form leather uppers over shoe lasts (forms) to create the proper shape and fit
• Operate industrial footwear and production machinery after training
• Follow standard operating procedures and machine instructions
• Perform detailed, hands-on production work while maintaining consistent quality
• Inspect finished work to ensure products meet quality and production specifications
• Use measuring tools and follow written production instructions
• Cross-train in multiple manufacturing operations
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly or machine operation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and good hand coordination
• Ability to learn and operate industrial machinery
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read and communicate in English, as machine instructions are provided in English
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hands-on work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.27 per hour
