Forecast Planning Analyst to join our client’s supply chain team. We're seeking a problem-solver who goes beyond surface-level data to uncover the story behind the numbers.
In this role, you will translate complex datasets into strategic insights that directly influence business decisions. You will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics to optimize inventory, boost forecast accuracy and ensure product availability. Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting - Supply Chain - Supply Chain Analytics – Provide actionable analysis and reporting utilizing sales data, inventory reporting, and sourcing information to drive decision-making
- SKU & Item Data – Setup and maintain item information to ensure clean, accurate, reliable supply chain data.
- Support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing timely, accurate data for supply scenario planning.
Forecasting & Planning - - Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, safety stock levels, and lead times.
- Utilize forecasts and forecast accuracy to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstock
- Generate Purchase Orders within NetSuite system; maintain accurate costs, tariffs, and any changes related to product specifications.
- Identify and manage supply constraints, proactively resolving potential shortages or overages.
- Monitor inventory performance against established KPIs, ensuring cost-effective inventory levels are achieved.
- Collaborate with factories and overseas teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage and track supplier invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments while reconciling monthly reports in collaboration with the accounting team to resolve variance between warehouse and internal accounting systems.
Qualifications: - Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, math, statistics, supply chain, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or inventory management.
- Proficient in Excel and supply planning tools (e.g., NetSuite or other ERP system)
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, demand planning and lead time management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- A natural problem-solver who sees messy data or broken processes as a puzzle worth solving.
- Strong communicator who can present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Organized, proactive, and solution oriented - you don't wait to be asked; you see what needs to be done and do it.
