Foreclosure First Legal/Document Processor for our law firm client, an industry leading specialty law firm. They specialize in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
The
Foreclosure First Legal/Document Processor is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:- Document Processing: Review and resolve issues on legal documents to ensure the foreclosure process advances smoothly and on schedule.
- Quality & Accuracy: Produce highly accurate, error-free work by meticulously reviewing and proofreading all files.
- Records Management: Maintain up-to-date records, prepare operational reports, and uphold strict confidentiality at all times.
- Professional Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer care.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within your department, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications for the position include: - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in the mortgage industry, escrow, loan servicing, or direct foreclosure.
- Proven file processing experience.
- High technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:- Experience working with attorneys, lenders preferred
- Previous experience working with Vendorscape, LPS, and other vendor related software preferred
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - 23.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
