We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney specializing in Foreclosure and Creditors' Rights to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the legal industry, particularly in the areas of foreclosure, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy litigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, a strong commitment to client service, and a proven track record in lender representation and default servicing.
Responsibilities:
- Represent and counsel clients on matters related to foreclosure, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy litigation.
- Provide expert advice on mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, and REO.
- Conduct comprehensive discovery and case strategy development to ensure successful litigation outcomes.
- Attend court appearances, draft and argue motions, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of creditor-side laws and regulations, and ensure all case handling and court filings are compliant.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and strategic advice.
- Conduct title litigation and manage all aspects of default servicing.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on foreclosure, creditors' rights, bankruptcy litigation, and lender representation.
- Proven experience in mortgage servicing, motion practice, default servicing, loss mitigation, REO, and title litigation.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlement negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective case strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in legal research and writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic case management systems is a plus.
