Florida Contested Foreclosure Litigation Attorney

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Florida Contested Foreclosure Litigation Attorney opportunity with our client who is a nationally recognized law firm with a longstanding focus on financial services and default servicing, representing mortgage lenders, servicers, investors, and financial institutions across multiple jurisdictions. Founded in 1967, the firm is known for its deep industry knowledge, aggressive timeline management, and client-focused approach to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related creditor-rights matters. This position is hybrid; mostly remote but must be a Florida resident.

The Foreclosure Litigation Attorney is responsible for below specific duties:

  • Handle a full caseload of contested foreclosure litigation matters in Florida state courts.
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery.
  • Ensure timely progression of cases in accordance with client-driven timelines and service standards.
  • Collaborate with internal legal teams, paralegals, and support staff across the firm's default servicing platform.
  • Maintain compliance with Florida foreclosure statutes, court rules, and mortgage servicing guidelines.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for high-volume institutional clients.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • 3–5 years of experience in Florida contested foreclosure litigation (creditor-side strongly preferred).
  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing (required).
  • Prior experience representing mortgage servicers, lenders, financial institutions, or investors.
  • Proven ability to independently manage a litigation caseload in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong written advocacy, motion practice, and courtroom presence.

Pay Rate Range: $110,000 – $140,000+ DOE, plus full benefits Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
