Position Summary
The Foreign & International Law Librarian provides specialized legal research, reference, instructional, and collection development support for the School of Law's foreign, international, and comparative law programs. The position also supports faculty, students, journals, moot court teams, visiting scholars, and related centers; contributes to Law Library operations and strategic initiatives; instructs School of Law legal research courses; and participates in professional, scholarly, and service activities.

LIBRARY ADMINISTRATION
Services to foreign and international law programs (40%)
Provide specialized assistance to various law school programs in international, foreign and comparative law, including the Rusk Center, the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law, the international moot court teams, the international law faculty, and visiting scholars. Promote, develop, maintain and assess the foreign and international collections.
Research, Reference, and Informal Instructional Services (25%)
Provide synchronous and asynchronous informal legal research instruction and materials as needed. Participate in research and reference services.
Law Library Operations (10%)
Contribute to teams and committees by planning, evaluating, assessing, marketing and implementing services, resources and technologies. Support initiatives in the Law Library and School of Law strategic plans.
Professional Development and Other Duties (10%)
Participate in professional, scholarly, and service activities. Maintain knowledge of library and legal education trends. Acquire new skills and participate in other projects as needed.
