Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Civil Foreman to join your Grid & Digital Solutions department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the construction of a high-voltage subsation based in Ozurgeti, Georgia.
Your role will encompass:
- Coordinates tasks regarding the onsite operations
- Collaborates with subcontractors rescheduling and work matters.
- Quantity and quality receipt of on-site materials
- Ensures compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Identification of local resources, materials, services
- Reports and works closely under the Site Manager.
- Achieves project completion on time
- Achieves project completion on budget on the part under site responsibility.
- Achieves project completion on par with technical requirements.
- Achieves minimum punch list remarks during acceptance.
- Report project progress to superiors
- Work closely with project managers and finance teams to track contract budgets, payments, and cost control.
What you bring to the role:
- Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience, preferably as a Civil Foreman in energy/construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety and compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to relocate.
