Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of skilled automotive technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Perform advanced diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, identifying root causes of complex issues.
Oversee the quality and accuracy of all repairs performed by the service team, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards.
Provide clear and concise explanations of repair needs and recommendations to Service Advisors and customers.
Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Assist with shop management tasks, including workflow scheduling and inventory oversight as needed.
Champion a culture of safety and best practices within the service department.
ASE Certifications (Master Technician preferred) or Dealership Certifications or Work Experience Equivalent
Minimum 10 years of automotive repair experience.
Proven diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Experience leading a team or mentoring junior technicians.
Strong understanding of automotive systems and their integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
