Job Description:
We are currently looking for an Electrical Foreman to join your Grid & Digital Solutions department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the construction of a high-voltage subsation based in Ozurgeti, Georgia.
Your role will encompass:
Check the readiness and safety compliance of each work area prior to commencing electrical installation activities.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
Monitor the progress of electrical systems installation and identify any deviations from plans, specifications, or schedules.
Ensure that electrical works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
Coordinate with other trades and site management to prevent conflicts and delays.
Assist in planning daily and weekly work schedules based on project timelines and available resources.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and report progress to the Site Manager.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
What you bring to the role:
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience , preferably as an Electrical Foreman in energy/construction sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and compliance.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
