Job Description

About the Role
As a Foreman / Field Supervisor, you will oversee daily field operations on a variety of heavy highway construction projects, including:
- Concrete work
- Asphalt paving
- Earthwork / site development
- Bridge rehabilitation and repair
- Miscellaneous civil construction projects
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications
- Schedule daily tasks and manage workflow to meet project deadlines
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a strong safety culture
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Monitor materials, equipment, and labor usage
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in heavy highway or civil construction
- Strong knowledge of concrete, asphalt, grading, and/or bridge work
- Ability to lead union crews and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards and regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
