ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a seasonal position you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year-round. This position is responsible for safely supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in grading and efficiently running the gravel-base operation, producing quality gravel-base in a timely manner. You will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform daily equipment walk-around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained. • Safely and properly supervise and coordinate activities of workers. • Work with crews, inspectors, and subcontractors to complete projects. • Complete quality gravel-base jobs within specifications. • Complete necessary paperwork. • Mentor and coach subordinates. • Deliver samples to lab. • Approve and submit work hours for crew and pertinent job information daily. • Communicate effectively, verbally, listening, and working with people under high-stress situations.
Self-motivated team-player with good interpersonal skills, ability to maintain positive customer relations, and act courteous and respectful of others. Troubleshoot and problem-solve situations, problems, material quality, equipment operation, repair, etc. Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors. Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, Lockout/Tagout safety and environmental regulation compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Preferred requirements, i.e., certifications, software use, etc.
As a successful Foreman, you will have:
• Ability to hold and maintain a drivers license in accordance with all state laws. • Minimum 5 years of experience in the product line. • Minimum 5 years of GPS Trimble experience. • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
