The Storm & Sewer Foreman supervises field crews performing storm drain and sanitary sewer work on DOT projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with DOT specifications and project plans.
Supervise and direct storm and sewer crews
Read and interpret DOT plans, profiles, and specifications
Oversee installation of storm drain, sanitary sewer, manholes, and structures
Ensure proper line, grade, and slope of pipe installation
Enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements
Coordinate daily activities with project management and DOT inspectors
Complete daily reports, timecards, and quantity tracking
3 5+ years of storm and sewer construction experience
Prior foreman or lead experience on DOT projects
Strong knowledge of DOT standards and trench safety
Ability to read construction plans and grade stakes
Valid driver's license
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Confined Space and CPR/First Aid certifications
Heavy civil construction sites; outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
