    Description

     
    EHC is currently looking for a Foreman for a client located in Orange, TX. 
     
    Day shift rotating schedule with crew,
    40 to 50$/hr DOE
    Direct hire employee
     
    Position Summary:
    The Foreman position will supervise and lead a crew's daily assignments in CNC machining and fabrication of products.  Responsible for scheduling, efficiency in operations, and safety.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
    Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. 
    Adhere to and enforce safety policies and procedure
    Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
    Supervise and direct employees’ daily assignments and priorities.
    Create schedules for departments to ensure deadlines are met.
    Read and interpret prints
    Lift 30lbs (if necessary)
    Must attend forklift training
    Must work shift work
    Other duties as requested
     
     
    WORK REQUIREMENT: 
     
    Language skills: must be able to effectively communicate, convey and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English Language. 
    Interpret: ability to effectively and accurately interpret, convey and express oneself in the exchange of ideas in a respectful and professional manner.
    Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic math. 
    Reasoning ability: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  
    Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings
    Knowledge of safety practices and hazards related to machine operations
    Ability to operate a variety of hand tools
    Ability to meet production goals and complete tasks
    Knowledge of mechanical tools
    Work overtime when required
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum Education:  High School Diploma or GED a must. Trade school graduate highly preferred
    Minimum Experience Qualifications: 5-10 years’ work experience, supervision of people in a manufacturing environment required.
    Required Certifications: (i.e. certifications, licenses, registrations, etc.): None
    Computer Proficiencies: MS Office and Excel highly preferred.
    Required Proficiencies with Specialized Knowledge:
    Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Assembly. Metal machining is beneficial.
    Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
