Foreman Pipefitter

Job Summary:

HM Staffing Solutions is seeking for an experienced and dedicated Foreman Pipefitter to lead and supervise our pipefitting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipefitting crews on various projects.

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and piping diagrams to determine project requirements.

Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring timely completion of projects.

Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Train and mentor junior pipefitters and apprentices.

Inspect work areas, materials, and equipment to detect potential hazards or deficiencies.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation techniques, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in various conditions, including high altitudes and confined spaces.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 30 certification.

Experience with various types of pipes such as PVC, copper, and steel.

Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
