Site Manager
Supervise, coordinate, and manage daily field operations and construction crews. Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project requirements. Lead daily toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project schedules. Monitor project progress and proactively address productivity, quality, and operational challenges. Interpret plans, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of work. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones. Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure projects remain on time and within budget. Train, mentor, and develop field personnel to promote a high-performing team environment. Ensure quality control standards are met and that all completed work meets client expectations. Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and project performance.
Proven experience as a Foreman, Lead Foreman, or Supervisor within construction, utility, civil, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse field crews. Thorough understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with project documentation, reporting, and field technology tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas as required. OSHA 30 Certification preferred. Experience managing multiple crews and complex field operations is highly desirable.
