    Forensic Accounting & Business Valuation Senior Manager6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from CBIZ Advisory ServicesJob Description#CBIZAdvisoryResponsibilitiesEssential Functions and Primary DutiesPerform, oversee and execute all aspects of business valuation engagements, including development of financial analysis, valuation models, exhibits and reportsReview, analyze and compare valuations of opposing expertsCommunicate and work with a broad client base consisting of private equity firms, publicly-traded companies, venture-backed companies, etc.Ability to learn and perform business and derivative valuations using option pricing models and Monte Carlo analysisParticipate in client assignments from beginning to endIdentify and communicate case issues, finding, and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during engagements.Work with discovery team to inventory and reconcile documents and data produced in preparation for submission to courts, attorneys and clientsAssist in preparation of exhibits and background information for expert witness testimonyMaintain and comply with highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct.Participate in training and developing staff and building a team-centered client service team; monitor client issues related to compliance services and monitor engagement status and profitability as well as attending to client expectationPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldExperience valuing alternative asset managers such as hedge funds and private equityKnowledgeable of the relevant statutory and family codes, and their applicability to valuation standards and accounting principles in performance of forensic accountingMust have active ASA, CFA, CPA or equivalent certificationMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree required8 years of experience in public accounting or related field5 years supervisoryMust have active CPA or equivalent certificationAbility to manage all aspects of client engagementsAbility to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessaryDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProficient use of applicable technologyMust be able to travel based on business needsAbout UsCBIZ Inc. is a leading professional services advisor to middle market businesses and organizations nationwide.
