Job Purpose:

• The Forensic Residential Specialist (Shift 3) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing specialized support and care to individuals residing in forensic residential facilities. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of residents while promoting rehabilitation and recovery through structured programs and activities. The specialist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to address the unique needs of individuals with forensic backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise residents during assigned shifts to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of forensic residents.
• Facilitate group activities and programs designed to promote social skills, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of residents' progress and report findings to the clinical team.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to support residents' legal and rehabilitative processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' activities, incidents, and treatment plans.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Uphold the principles of confidentiality and ethical practice in all interactions with residents and team members.
