Forest Manor in Northport, AL is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional In-House Therapy Team. If you're passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life, we'd love to hear from you!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, improve mobility, and promote healing.
- Deliver treatments in accordance with established plans of care under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment interventions.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Review patient evaluations and assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Develop personalized, fitness-oriented programs to maximize patient outcomes.
- Provide instruction on proper exercise techniques and safe mobility practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Adhere to all applicable rules, regulations, and professional standards.
