  • Plant new trees and support community planting events.
  • Mulch, stake, fertilize, and water young trees using a water truck.
  • Monitor overall tree health and report concerns.

Irrigation & Landscape Support

  • Install new irrigation lines, perform regular checks, and make repairs.
  • Weed, fertilize, and apply herbicides when needed.

Equipment Care

  • Perform maintenance on vehicles and equipment twice monthly.
  • Clean, sharpen, and maintain chainsaws, power pruners, pole saws, and related tools.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience as a forestry technician or similar fieldwork.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License required.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment.

What the Work Is Like

This role is physically active and performed mostly outdoors. You should be comfortable:

  • Heavy, hands-on outdoor work in varying weather.
  • Regular lifting (up to 100 lbs), climbing, bending, and operating equipment.
  • Use of chainsaws, chippers, trucks, bucket trucks, and more.
  • Required safety gear provided.

Physical Demands

This is a Heavy strength role. Expect to:

  • Lift and carry 50-100 lbs occasionally.
  • Bend, kneel, climb, and operate foot controls frequently.
  • Work closely with your team and communicate regularly with coworkers and the public.
