Design, develop, and test electronic systems for power conversion solutions in the semiconductor industry. Responsible for all phases of the product lifecycle. Perform RF hardware design, test script development, and electrical system simulation to integrate hardware and control systems. Perform RF power electronics system simulation, design, optimization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to improve product quality and performance. Support test procedure development and conduct bench testing and validation. Engage in feature testing. Resolve customer issues. Ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist with component selection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
Minimum Requirements: EDUCATION: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: Six months of work experience with power supply product design and development. SPECIFIC SKILLS: This position also requires education or experience with testing and debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and JTAG interfaces; RF design including Driver/Exciter, Combiner/Splitter, V/I Sensor, Coupler, filter design, and impedance matching; DC/DC power supply design -- Buck, Boost, Half-Bridge, Full-Bridge, and Fly-Back; circuit design and simulation including finite element analysis; control loop design and theory; programming or scripting for microcontrollers and/or processors using assembly, C, and Python; Verilog and VHDL; schematic capture; PCBA layout; Altium Designer; thermal management design; and UL/CSA compliance.
Compensation: $109,658 - $139,658 per year
