Alliance Industrial Solutions is hiring a Forging Machine Operator for a steel forging and manufacturing company in Cleveland, OH. This is a hands-on production role working with forging equipment, hot steel, quality inspections, and basic machine operation.
What Youll Do
- Operate forging equipment, including hammers, presses, hydraulic presses, and furnaces
- Heat steel billets and monitor furnace conditions
- Assist with die setups, tool changes, and material preparation
- Safely handle hot steel using required PPE
- Inspect forged parts for quality, dimensions, and specifications
- Remove scale and complete basic trimming or shearing as needed
- Perform basic equipment checks, lubrication, and adjustments
- Load, unload, deburr, clean, and stage parts for the next production step
- Support CNC machine loading and unloading after training
- Report machine issues, tool wear, or quality concerns to the team lead
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing, machine operator, forging, hot metal, CNC, or production experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a hot industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset
- $20.00 per hour
