Fork Lift Operator - Seasonal

Seasonal Forklift Driver GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for shipping and receiving products in the warehouse accurately and efficiently. This position will run from approximately 7/1/25 thru 12/1/25.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep the palletizers supplied with pallets, hoods, and slip sheets.
• Move brite from palletizers when tagged/completed to correct location.
• Keep the depalletizers adequately supplied with cans.
• Remove dunnage from Depalletizers and place in designated area.
• Ability to perform other warehouse duties as necessary (palletizer, ticket writer)
• Keep dock area clean and organized.
• Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all GMPs and Safety procedures.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
• May perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Knowledge:

• Must be able to pass the Lakeside Foods Forklift Driver Training.
• Learn and follow the approved safe practices and procedures which apply to position.
• Become familiar with, observe and follow all Lakeside Foods rules and established policies for Safety, Health and Security.

Language Skill:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skill:

• Ability to add and subtract.
