Fork Lift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Shipping/Receiving/Specials)
Location: Winchester, VA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift Timings: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (1st Shift)
 
Job Description
We are hiring a Forklift Operator to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing facility. This role involves safely transporting materials, staging products for shipment, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials and finished goods
• Read and interpret shipping schedules and work orders
• Stage, sort, and prepare products for shipment based on specifications
• Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and maintain equipment
• Load and unload materials efficiently and accurately
• Consolidate and organize shipping orders
• Maintain accurate records and verify shipping documentation
• Replace pallets and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Support warehouse team and assist with additional duties as needed
• Work overtime or weekends when required

• Strong forklift operation and safety knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order handling
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks regularly

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred, can be waived with experience)
• 2–3 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to read and write in English
• Proven teamwork and reliability
