Fork Lift Reach Operator

Location: Joliet, IL
Pay Rate: $19.50 – $20.50 per hour
Schedules: 1st Shift, 6 AM – 2:30 PM OR 2nd Shift, 3 PM – 11:30 PM (OT as needed)

Job Duties:

• Operate reach trucks to transport materials throughout the facility
• Move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies between production and storage areas
• Retrieve, stage, and place materials on racks for production and inventory purposes
• Assist with loading and unloading pallets, trailers, and trucks
• Complete inventory tracking and material movement transactions using scanning systems
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly
• Use battery-operated hand tools as needed
• Maintain clean, organized staging, storage, and warehouse areas
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Support warehouse and production operations with additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating reach trucks required
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate forklifts for extended periods throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity and quality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
