My Douglasville office is hiring in the Thornton Road Fulton Industrial area

We are seeking a very skilled sit-down forklift operator
Experience for a food manufacturing warehouse or production manufacturing is ideal

Must be comfortable operating a forklifts backwards and forwards

In and out of trucks

Some racks can be high in the air and have to move full pallets

$19 per hour

 

Must have 2+ years of recent sit-down forklift experience (Must be able to operate very well)

Must be able to speak Spanish fluently

We are urgently hiring Bilingual (Spanish) Production Forklift operator

Lots of over-time available right now

7am-5pm Monday-Friday Saturdays may be needed from time to time

Seeking a true team player, good work attitude, and reliable. We want someone seeking a permanent job position.

 

 Must be ok with heavy lifting. Most items are 35-40 lbs. Must be able lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

This is considered a heavy industrial position,

 

 

Someone that has worked in Food manufacturing/Food warehouse experience with (GMPS are a huge plus) or manufacturing/production experience but not required

The Production Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of production line jobs and warehouse functions in safe and efficient manner, in a clean indoor food production facility. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): supporting, planning, organizing and controlling production with a goal of increasing efficiency, quality and productivity, ensuring a uniform method of receiving and handling bulk oil to verify that the material received matches the ingredient ordered to maintain the purity of ingredients during unloading and routing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, working additional overtime as needed

  • Maintain good personal hygiene. Wear designated uniform maintained in good
    condition

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

  • Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter free work area Clean up all spills immediately

  • Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery

  • Place production orders from customers

  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions

  • Follow all procedures, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

  • Assist with inventory process as requested

  • Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team, department and company goals

  • Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. Position may require working alternate hours or weekends to meet customer delivery requirements.

  • Examine products to verify quality and consistency.

  • Perform quick and efficient changeovers to limit downtime.

  • Clean equipment following completion of production cycle.

  • Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed.

  • Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual – Spanish and English

  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Forklift Experience Preferred

  • Enjoy learning while being flexible and adaptable in a changing environment

  • Enjoy working with others and making a positive impact

  • Must possess attention to detail , positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance

  • Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player

  • Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift 50 pounds

  • Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods

  • Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with people

  • Must be able to work with extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walking 

  • Other duties as needed. Which may include helping clean the warehouse or common areas if needed
