As a Forklift and Building Materials Operator, you''re directly responsible for moving the products that builders, contractors and homeowners rely on every day. The hourly wage for this role is $20.75 plus shift differential. The hours are 1:00pm-9:45PM. This position may include overtime and a unionize facility. Key Functions: Safely operate and maintain propane or gas forklift to move products from stock lines to staging and/or cut stations. Safely load and unload products from various trailers and rail cars Safely do your job to ensure your personal safety and the safety of others. Courage to intervene in any unsafe practices. Accurately perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, and multiplying Accurately count units, record totals and document shipping and receiving activities Develop in depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations. Commit to quality, efficiency, and continuous process improvement. This is not an inside warehouse position. This role will perform manual labor 55- 65% of the time
