Standup Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Locations: Carrollton, TX / Denton, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM start
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM start
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM start

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Standup Forklift Operators to join our warehouse/distribution team. This role is responsible for operating standup reach forklifts to efficiently move, stack, and retrieve materials throughout the facility while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a standup forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Pick, stage, and store product accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanners
• Stack and retrieve pallets in high-rack storage areas
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation
• Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and inventory needs

Qualifications

• Previous standup forklift experience preferred
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Comfortable working at heights on a standup forklift
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
