About the Role
KanPak is seeking an energetic and dependable Forklift Driver / ACN Leaker to support warehouse and quality operations at our Arkansas City, KS facility. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment, inspecting products for quality standards, accurately handling inventory, and maintaining an organized work environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently while meeting safety and quality expectations.
What You''ll Do
- Safely operate a stand-up forklift and/or reach truck.
- Receive, store, move, and load products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, lift, carry, and palletize products to fulfill customer orders.
- Conduct visual inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure quality and shipment accuracy.
- Verify product counts and quantities against shipping and receiving documentation.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Load trailers and move product to designated storage locations.
- Keep work areas clean and organized using approved cleaning materials and procedures.
- Support additional warehouse and quality responsibilities as assigned.
What You''ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid forklift certification or license preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of safe forklift/material handling equipment experience.
- Experience operating a reach truck and/or stand-up forklift required.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The Schedule & Setting
- Location: Arkansas City, KS
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Environment: Warehouse and production facility
- KanPak operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and flexibility for overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
