About the Role

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment within a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves moving, loading, unloading, and organizing products to support efficient warehouse operations, while maintaining safety standards and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and store materials.
• Receive and put away incoming inventory.
• Pull and stage products for customer or production orders.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products.
• Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment before use; report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and product location data within warehouse management systems.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
• Keep warehouse work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Use RF scanners, tablets, or warehouse management systems for inventory accuracy.
• Perform general warehouse duties including lifting, packing, labeling, and palletizing.
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and shipping deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Certified forklift operation experience (Tier 5 - Certified Forklift 20lbs+).
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Experience with inventory receiving, staging, and warehouse organization.
• Physical ability to lift 20lbs or more.
• Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems such as RF scanners or tablets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety procedures and protocols.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Physical lifting of 20lbs+ as part of warehouse duties
• Safe operation of forklifts and handling of inventory in a warehouse setting
