Forklift Driver and Material Handler (Day Shift)

We are seeking Forklift Operators/Sanitor for Full-Time opportunities in a facility located in Jackson, TN

Pay: $18 per hour (Bi-Weekly)

12 Hour Shifts

Hours:  Day Shift 6:00 am - 6:30 pm 

Weekend work will be required

Typical Education/Training:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Fork Lift Certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Comprehend and follow instructions
• Understand production processes and systems.
• Licensed Operation of Forklift
• Understand Safety and Food Quality standards

Job Duties:

• Operating a forklift within facility production lines to various trailers and compactors
• Assure that trailers are not overfilled or exceed weight limits
• Handle trailer and compactor exchange
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated A-Feed areas (including floors, assigned lifts, compactors, and totes)
• Strictly adhere to lockout/tagout procedures
• Sort and bail common recycle materials
• Gather materials from around facility to a common location
• Maintaining and following GMP protocols.
• Helping maintain a Safe and Food Safe environment through teamwork and proper
• food sanitation training.
• Keep a record of scrap for accountability purposes.

Qualifications:

• Must pass drug screen and background check. 
• A strong work ethic 
• The ability to work alone or within a team is a must.
