Job Description
Forklift Operator – Shipping / Materials
Location: Cadillac, MI
Pay: $19.50/hour (All Shifts Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Repack products according to customer specifications and quality standards
- Accurately label all containers and verify quantities
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including Hi-Lo (forklift)
- Use RF scan gun systems to split, combine, and track inventory
- Verify shipments using customer pick sheets
- Locate parts within inventory and identify components for finished goods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all work instructions, procedures, and company policies
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and dock operations as needed
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines
- Support additional tasks and assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Prior forklift (Hi-Lo) experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and basic computer systems
