Job Full Description

Germantown and Milwaukee lumber yards looking for Forklift Drivers!

Direct Hire Opportunity!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Work with dispatch or store manager to keep up with the flow of the day, keep loads pulled and ready to be put on trucks.
  • Operate sit-down forklift safely to complete various tasks such as receive and pull orders, pull credit returns with accuracy, load/unload trucks, and general organization and housekeeping/landscaping of the yard.
  • Use power tools and saws safely to make rough cuts.
  • Verify incoming materials are inspected, checked for damage, and counted for accuracy.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing deliveries are consistent with purchase orders prior to accepting delivery or unloading products off trucks or prior to loading
  • Maintain control over and help walk-in or pick up retail customers and business to business customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of sit-down forklift experience; forklift certification a plus!
  • Basic math and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Building materials knowledge a plus: difference in lumber and sizes.
Job Specifications:
  • Pay Range: $20 + DOE
  • Shift(s): 1st shift
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Fridays 7am-4pm
    • NO WEEKENDS!!
    • OVERTIME EVERY WEEK!
