A busy warehouse facility in Reno, NV is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join their growing team. This role focuses on inventory handling, customer truck loading, and cross-functional warehouse operations. Ideal candidates will be proactive, safety-focused, and experienced with sit-down forklift operation.
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Sit-Down Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting the receiving and distribution process, ensuring inventory is accurately tracked and orders are handled with efficiency. Cross-training across departments is part of the role to promote team flexibility and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift to safely move and load materials onto customer trucks
Perform receiving duties, including verifying and staging incoming product
Assist in inventory control and cycle counting processes
Work collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency and workflow
Support general warehouse tasks and cross-training as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Requirements:
Must wear steel-toe shoes
Sit-down forklift experience required
Ability to stand, bend, and squat throughout the shift
Able to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
