San Diego, CAChula Vista Ca 3001$21.00/Forklift Driver* Job Description* Branch DetailsPosition SummaryA forklift driver (often called a Warehouse Associate or Forklift Operator) is responsible for operating material-handling equipment to support daily warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.Key Responsibilities* Operate forklifts and other equipment to:* Load and unload trucks* Move, stack, and stage products* Pick and replenish inventory* Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory* Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment* Assist with:* Labeling, packing, and repacking goods* Inventory counts and stock rotation* Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines* Perform additional warehouse duties as assignedBasic Qualifications* High school diploma or GED* At least 6 months of warehouse or logistics experience* Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)* Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE)Preferred Qualifications* 1-3 years of forklift or warehouse experience* Experience with reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)Skills & Abilities* Basic computer and scanner skills* Attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment* Basic math skills for counting and inventory* Good communication (English reading/writing/speaking)Physical Requirements* Frequent standing, walking, and bending* Ability to lift 20-50 lbs* Work in warehouse conditions (can vary in temperature)Work Environment* Warehouse/distribution setting* Moderate noise levels* Emphasis on safety and efficiencyChula Vista CA 3001
